We are in a strange time. People look at each other and society differently. Much of what until recently was taken for granted has been shaken. We have to keep our distance and wear masks. In addition to their jobs, parents have been given the task of teaching their children, and many families have lost the financial sources of income they thought were secure. The psychological and financial stability has been shaken for many.
The pandemic of 2020 hit us surprisingly and consistently. Now we find ourselves in the age of the “New Normal”. A challenge for all people and especially for the retail sector. Now we have to develop concepts that are flexible and can react to new circumstances. Tried and tested standard solutions for pandemic shopping are not yet available, but we can fall back on functioning concepts and many years of experience in store design and construction.
